Kickstarter Project Funded!

On 17, Mar 2013 | In Video Game | By David Logan

I cannot believe the level of support we got for our Kickstarter project. In total we had 750 backers, and earned $20,747! In the last 3 days of the project, we earned almost $7,000! Not only was the game funded, but we even achieved our first stretch goal- translations in 3 other languages. Soon we will be setting up a PayPal on our website for anyone who wasn’t able to preorder.

If you haven’t yet, please vote for us on Steam Greenlight! We are about 1/3 of the way there! If we get greenlit, ALL backers $10 or more will receive a free Steam key for the game.

Swampy Day!

On 26, Oct 2012 | In Animation, Video Game | By David Logan

Disney Stores across the United States celebrated all things Where’s My Water and Swampy this last Saturday, October 20th.  New and even unseen episodes of Swampy’s Underground Adventures aired across the US including on the Disney Store jumbotron in Timesquare NYC!  The celebration was in promotion of the new series, and release of Episode 1 “Meet Swampy.”

Animax and Disney celebrated “Swampy Day” at the local Glendale Disney Store.  They even gave us a special in store shout out!  I bought my very own Cranky plush, which one of the animators nicknamed “Crazy Cranky” (because of his oddly placed pupils).

Today Episode 2 “Rising Tide” has been released.  It is a special and spooky Halloween themed episode!  Climb under your covers and watch both new episodes!

One Year Birthday for "Where's My Water"

On 29, Sep 2012 | In Animation, Video Game | By David Logan

The mobile app “Where’s My Water?” turned one year old last week boasting an impressive 100 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play.  You can read all about Swampy’s accomplishments and see a very interesting and impressive infograph on Disney Interactive’s blog.

The name of the animated series based on “Where’s My Water?”  is now officially called “Disney Where’s My Water Presents: Swampy’s Underground Adventures.”  Animax has been working hard animating and writing 12 episodes which debut on Disney.comDisney’s Youtube network, and recently started airing on Disney Channel!  Kidscreen just featured an article all about the series as well.

Teaser 2 of “Swampy’s Underground Adventures” just released earlier this week, featuring Swampy’s version of “Under Pressure” by Queen and music by composers Rich Dickerson and Gigi Meroni  who worked on shows such as “What’s New Scooby Doo.”

Look forward to more episodes very soon!  View the portfolio piece here.
