Noraj: Children of the Skies

Check out the first installment of, “The Children of the Skies” sci-fi novel series. A special group of humans are given abilities by an unknown energy wave that hits the planet. What will these humans do with their new abilities? Will they push mankind into a new world of peace or will the usher in the apocalypse?

Animax worked with Noraj Picture Company to put together this sneak peak of the new Science Fiction Graphic novel, Children of the Skies.

Sony: Community- Miracle on Jeff’s Street

Leading up to the premiere of Community‘s 5th season on NBC, Animax animated a holiday themed promo trailer featuring the cast of the show for Sony Pictures Television. The promo features Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) home alone for the holidays getting a surprise visit from his Greendale friends. The animated short was leaked to YouTube and promoted by the cast via their social media channels and their rabid fans helped it go viral.

Disney: Swampy’s Underground Adventures

The “Swampy’s Underground Adventures” webseries is based off the hit Disney iOS and Android game app “Where’s My Water?,” which has had over 100 million downloads to date. In this true transmedia project, Animax developed out the story universe and characters, and then wrote and animated the first season consisting of 12 episodes and 2 teasers which debuted on Disney.com, Disney’s YouTube network, and Disney Channel.  Read more about the show on Kidscreen.

Bad Hybrid” is an original Animax show, aired by Mondo Media on their YouTube network and website.  The show has 7 episodes and over 600,000 views over the series. The premise of this oddball show: Steve bought a new hybrid car named Fern that magically came to life… then it got a job at Steve’s work and started ruining his life. The webseries had a cultish following that led to us even engineering a silly interactive soundboard that lived on Mondo’s site.
