The Wheel of Fortune game was designed by TVGla, replacing the website‘s old Flash game with a completely new game in HTML5. In the game, players solve puzzles by filling in the blanks. If you guess correctly, you get points, and move onto the next puzzle. Every several puzzles, you get to spin a wheel, and even have a chance to win extra points in the bonus round.
TVGla is the agency of record (AOR) for Sony TV‘s Wheel of Fortune, so they handle all WoF related digital stuff including the website, banners, and digital games. I was the producer on the game, helping to see the design and development realized.
The Jim Henson Company turned to Animax to help commemorate The Dark Crystal by adding fun social media driven elements to the franchise website. With a nod to the retro and cult nature of the movie, Animax recreated the original MUD text based adventure game which debuted on the Apple II (ah, the good old days) as an updated HTML5 game.
The “Scotchy Scotch Toss” mobile game (iOS and Android) lets you play a good ole fashioned game of scotch pong against Ron Burgundy, Will Ferrell’s character in “Anchorman 2“. Animax created all of the original art and animation in the app for Paramount that includes over 300 taunts and phrases from Ron himself. In covering the app and the overall campaign Adweek sayid “Anchorman 2” is “changing the way movies are marketed.”
Play as a bounty hunter in Django’s Bounty Hunter 1800, the iOS, Android, and web game, based on the new Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained! The game was released as part of the Weinstein Company’s promotion for the movie, accompanying their interactive website. You can read the press release here.
Bungees are a popular new toy line by Jazwares, available at Toys R Us and on the official website. Animax partnered with Jazwares to create a mobile puzzle game on Android and iOS based on the Bungees’ franchise. Tilt your phone to help your Bungee navigate a map full of pit-falls, collect gems, and race against the clock to reach the end!
I worked on business development, marketing, and strategy for Bubble Struggle: Adventures, the new game from the addictive & award-winning Bubble Struggle series. The goal of the game is to avoid and pop the bubbles, before the time runs out.
Play as the devilish hero and stop the evil wizard from stealing fruit from Fruitopia’s magical trees. Venture inside the castle, and navigate through the wizard’s traps and puzzles to reclaim the stolen fruit.
Smokey Bear is the mascot of the United States Forest Service created to educate people, primarily, children, about the dangers of forest fires. The campaign is run by the United States Forest Service, the National Association of State Foresters, the Ad Council and my company, HelpsGood.
June 2012 marks the two year anniversary with Smokey and HelpsGood. HelpsGood has deployed multiple social media marketing tactics and created new content to support the campaign. We have created original apps for the web and mobile devices, as well as imagery, articles, and more.
Earth Haven 2: Retribution is not your typical RPG. This particular game is geared toward gamers who are ready for a fresh, more upbeat RPG style game with adult humor.
